William P. Dobbin, D.M.D., P.A.

Dr. Dobbin graduated from the college of the Holy Cross in 1972. Thereafter, he received his MBA in Accounting from Rutgers University School of Business in 1975. After working in the public accounting field, he enrolled at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1976. He graduated in 1980 and then did a one year residency in general dentistry at St. Lukes Hospital in New York City. This was followed by a 3 year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at St Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. His formal training was completed at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis where he did a one year fellowship concentrating in orthognathic surgery.

Dr. Dobbin has been in a private practice in oral surgery in Manchester since 1985. He became board certified in 1988. He is on staff at the Elliot Hospital and practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Dobbin is a past president of the Manchester Dental Society. In 2005 and 2006 he was recognized as one of the Top Dentists in New Hampshire in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery by New Hampshire Magazine. He served on the Examination Committee of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for 8 years.

Dr. Dobbin's special interests are in the field of dental implants and bone regeneration and has been placing dental implants since 1986. He also travels twice a year to South America to perform cleft lip and palate surgery on the indigent.

Recreationally, Dr. Dobbin likes to ski, play golf and "work out". He also enjoys restaurants, movies and travel.
